This is a provincial legislation that provides the public with a right of access to information, subject to limited exemptions and protect the privacy of individuals with respect to their personal information held by the institution.
Sheridan will not disclose any student’s information to a third party without the consent of the student. This information can include grades, academic standing, appointment history or details, or personal information such as phone number or address. To authorize Sheridan to release a student’s information to a third party, the student must fill out an Information Access Request form.
