OSAP offers financial assistance for part-time students who are registered in certificate, degree or diploma programs. You can apply online via the OSAP website.
To be considered for OSAP for Part-time Students, you must be enrolled in 20% to 59% of a full course load (e.g., 6 out of 15 credits). If you have a confirmed permanent, persistent or prolonged disability and are studying at 40% to 59% of a full course load, you can apply for OSAP for Full-time Students or OSAP for Part-time Students.
If you are studying part-time and would like to apply for OSAP assistance, you must complete the OSAP for Part-time Students application each semester.
The deadline to submit an OSAP for Part-time Students application and any supporting documentation is 40 days before the end of the term you are applying for.
