Is my program eligible for a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP)?

Sheridan is a publicly funded institution accredited by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities in Ontario.

Update 2024

Students who apply for their SP/SP extension before November 1, 2024 are eligible for PGWP regardless of which program they will complete at Sheridan College: Work in Canada after you graduate: Who can apply - Canada.ca

At the same time, please refer to IRCC's latest announcement effective November 8, 2024: New International Student Program regulations take effect - Canada.ca. If you're changing schools, you will need to apply for a new Study Permit (SP) and wait for SP approval before you can start your new program: Changing your school or program - Canada.ca

Based on the above, if the student needs to apply for a new SP after November 1, 2024, they need to now apply for a PGWP-eligible program. The list of PGWP-aligned programs can be found on the main Sheridan website.
