How do I apply for OSAP?

To apply for OSAP, visit ontario.ca/osap. A step-to-step guide on how to apply for OSAP is also available.

If you are a new applicant, you’ll need to register for an OSAP account before applying for full-time and/or part-time OSAP.

Students should submit their applications as soon as possible. Printed and signed consents and declaration pages need to be uploaded in the supporting documents section of the OSAP website. All listed required documentation must also be submitted to process your OSAP application in full.

If OSAP was not received during the last two years, an electronic Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA) needs to be completed. There are two steps to process and complete the MSFAA:

  1. Register online with the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC) using your 10-digit MSFAA number – you can locate this number under the Required Documents section of your OSAP application.
  2. Complete the online MSFAA and accept the terms and conditions.
