If you are an international student and your program includes a mandatory work-integrated learning component such as co-op, internship, placement or practicum (paid or unpaid), you will need to apply for a Co-op Work Permit per IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) regulations.
You can access your co-op work permit letter on Sheridan Central. Please scroll to the bottom of the page to the “Co-op Work Permit Letter for International Students” heading. The co-op work permit letter must accompany your application for the Co-op Work Permit. Please note that this letter must accompany the Letter of Acceptance or Enrollment Confirmation Letter.
